It is a new product developed according to the technical requirements specified in the national standard gb/t2406. The instrument is used to determine the volume percentage of oxygen required during polymer combustion. The polymer oxygen index value is the lowest oxygen concentration (also known as oxygen index) required to maintain the combustion pattern in the oxygen and nitrogen mixed gas flow required to maintain the combustion for 50mm or 180s after the material is ignited.

The instrument can not only be used as a means to identify the flame retardancy of polymers, but also as a research tool.
